2. Finishing & Trimming

Following the moulding process, XIRAPLÁS performs a range of finishing and trimming operations to ensure that composite components meet their specified dimensions, geometries, and assembly requirements.
These operations include cutting, drilling, edge trimming, sanding, and other finishing procedures, depending on the characteristics and technical specifications of each product.
By combining skilled workmanship with appropriate production equipment, we prepare components for subsequent manufacturing stages, assembly, or final delivery, with particular attention to dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
3. Surface Preparation for Painting
The Foundation of a High-Quality Finish
Proper surface preparation is essential to achieving durable, consistent, and aesthetically appealing painted finishes on composite components.
At XIRAPLÁS, preparation procedures are adapted to the characteristics of fiberglass-reinforced materials and may include sanding, surface correction, filling, cleaning, and primer application.
This careful approach helps promote paint adhesion, reduce visible imperfections, and prepare each component for the required coating system and final appearance.
4. Industrial Painting

XIRAPLÁS provides industrial painting solutions for composite components, combining specialized application techniques with finishing procedures adapted to customer requirements.
Our capabilities include a variety of colours, textures, and gloss levels, from matt and satin finishes to high-gloss surfaces, according to the intended application and technical specifications.
Colour selection can be based on recognized reference systems, including RAL, NCS, and PANTONE, subject to the compatibility and availability of the selected coating system.
By integrating painting into our production process, we offer customers the convenience of receiving finished components ready for their intended use.
5. Final Inspection, Finishing & Packaging

Before dispatch, composite components undergo final verification procedures to assess conformity with applicable customer specifications and finishing requirements.
Depending on the product, these checks may include visual inspection, dimensional verification, surface finish assessment, and confirmation of identification and accompanying documentation.
Where necessary, minor finishing adjustments are performed before the components are released for delivery.
Packaging and handling arrangements are adapted to each product’s dimensions, geometry, and surface characteristics, helping protect components during storage, handling, and transportation.
